Sinfonia Youth Orchestra Spring Concert

Sinfonia Youth Orchestra’s spring concert promises a musical journey through the cosmos. Set for Sunday, May 4th at Destin High School, this year’s Youth Orchestra concerts will feature After School Beginning Strings, Sinfonietta Strings, Intermediate Strings and Chamber Group performing at 2PM and the Chamber Group and the Symphonic Orchestra performing at 5PM. Both shows are free to attend and open to the public.

In addition to the music performance, the 5PM concert will include a salute to the graduating high school seniors and the presentation of the 2025 Grace Fulcher Memorial Scholarship to one senior.

Audiences will get to see the full gamut of ability in Sinfonia's Music Education programs from the beginning students who have been playing for about a year to the graduating seniors. Music selections will invoke images of space in the listener as many intergalactic anthems are played such as themes from the Star Wars franchise and Holst’s Themes from The Planets.
