Florida Historian Presents Illustrated Lecture at Bud and Alley's January 23

Escape To Create is honored to present Florida historian and awarded author Jack E. Davis on Wednesday, January 23rd at 4:00pm in a lecture and reception at Bud and Alley's Restaurant in Seaside.
A Professor of History at the University of Florida and FL Humanities Council lecturer, Davis' 2009 biography of Marjory Stoneman Douglas won the Gold Medal for Non-Fiction, Florida Book Awards. He is also recipient of two Charley Awards from the Florida Magazine Association for Best Feature Writing and Best In-Depth Reporting on the Gulf. Davis will share fascinating research gathered for his next book, the first comprehensive work on the environmental history of the Gulf: The Gulf of Mexico: History, Nature and the Fate of an American Sea.
