Legally Blonde The Musical May 2-18 At Emerald Coast Theater Company

Alright, gather 'round, theater lovers! The Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) is about to drop a musical bomb of pure joy: Legally Blonde The Musical! Get ready to bend and snap your way to their stage from May 2nd to 18th, 2025. They're doing shows Thursday through Saturday nights at 7 pm, and chilling with matinees on Sundays and Wednesdays at 2 pm at Grand Boulevard.

This ain't your stuffy theater! We're talking about the totally awesome, award-winning musical based on the movie you adore. It's all about Elle Woods, this super blonde, pink-loving sorority sister who's about to flip everyone's expectations on their head. They think she's just a pretty face? Oh, snap, she's going to tackle stereotypes and scandal like it's her favorite workout. This show is packed with killer songs and dances that'll make you wanna jump up and cheer – it's so much fun, it's practically illegal!

ECTC's own Anna Fisher, says she's head-over-heels for the humor in this show,  "one of the things I absolutely love about this show is the humor that is woven through every part of the show. The song lyrics, the writing, and the scenes always bring a laugh or a smile, and yet manage to show depth and character development at the same time. Elle Woods, the lead character, is a great example of this balance of humor and depth."

Behind the scenes, we've got the dream team: Nathanael Fisher directing the whole shebang, with Trenton Bainbridge as his right-hand man. Rebeca Lake's making the stage and lights look amazing, Emily Bainbridge is bringing the killer moves, Taylor Walker's got the costumes looking fierce, Gavin Young's on sound duty, and Ora Wolfgram is keeping everything on track. Plus a whole crew of awesome assistants!
