The CVHN Big Give: Caftans & Cocktails at Bud & Alley's Sep 28

The CVHN Big Give: 2018 Caftans & Cocktails will take place Friday, September 28 from 6:00pm til 10:00pm at Bud & Alley's Restaurant in Seaside with all proceeds benefiting Children's Volunteer Health Network (CVHN). Formerly known as the Hurricane Party, this event is in its fourteenth year, and in 2017, it raised over 62,000 dollars to put towards CVHN’s mission. Tickets available online!

6th Annual Fore Her Golf Outing Sep 28

Get teed up and ready for a day of golf at the 6th Annual FORE HER Golf Outing on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club. The money raised from this event will go directly to local individuals battling breast cancer, who are able to use the money to pay for their mortgage, car, utilities, medical expenses, a well deserved vacation after recovering from treatments or a last vacation with their families.

Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation Donates $2.7 Million to 15 Children’s Charities

Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF), recognized as the third largest charity wine auction in the country by Wine Spectator Magazine for the second consecutive year, donated $2.7 million to 15 local charities serving children in need in Northwest Florida. The private check presentation ceremony was held at the WaterColor LakeHouse, marking one of the Foundation’s largest charitable distributions to date.

Dog Harmony Celebrates New Home

As a certified, professional dog trainer, Nancy Brown knows a thing or two about her furry friends.

After graduating from the Animal Behavior College in Santa Clara, California, she worked with various dog-owning clients who, for one reason or another, expressed a need to find a home for their dogs. She then worked with animal rescue operations and saw that many animals were simply being regurgitated through the system.
