Title
Star Gazing at Eden Gardens State Park

Details
Join the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association at Eden Gardens State Park for an evening of stargazing on the lawn on Friday, September 12 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Meet on the lawn between the historic Wesley House and fountain. The event is FREE and open to the public with a park entry fee.
The beauty of the universe will be on display, with astronomy association members setting up their telescopes for the public. Normal celestial gazing includes bright galaxies, star clusters and planets.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own telescopes, wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring bug repellent. If you bring a flashlight, please use a red filter to minimize the effect on night vision. Event is weather permitting. Call the park at 850-267-8322 the day of the event for further information.
