Tour Grayton Beach State Park With Florida Wildlife Federation October 3, 2026

There is still time to join the Florida Wildlife Federation for a memorable morning field trip through Grayton Beach State Park on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CDT, participants will embark on a two-hour guided hike to explore some of Florida’s most magnificent natural landscapes. Led by an experienced local volunteer guide, the route winds through diverse habitats, offering sweeping views of towering coastal dunes, lush pine forests, and Western Lake—one of South Walton’s rare coastal dune lakes.

The hike follows an easy-to-moderate trail over sandy, uneven terrain and passes through areas of full sun, making it ideal for anyone comfortable walking for two hours. Recommended for ages 12 and up (with participants under 16 accompanied by an adult), this outing offers a perfect chance to connect with fellow local conservationists and nature enthusiasts.

While registration is free, space is strictly limited to ensure a small-group setting. Park entry is $5 per vehicle (carrying 2 to 8 people). Reserve your spot early to secure a place on the trail.
