Blue Mountain Beach is home to Local Catch Bar & Grill, a casual restaurant and bar where you can watch the game, listen to some music, or just be yourself and enjoy the company of others without breaking the bank.
There is a lot of history in Grayton Beach. On every street are historic homes and fantastic memories. "Artless Sprite" is a quaint cottage with a long history full of family memories, and it is available to rent so new memories can be made.

Back in 1986, Bob and Linda White would sometimes wonder if their idea of starting a bookstore at Seaside was such a good idea. Fast forward to 2016 and any doubters have long since become believers as Sundog Books clips right along. The couple, surrounded by customers, employees and their latest Sundog dog “Glover,” celebrated their 30th year in business Saturday, April 30, 2016…the day fittingly coincided with Independent Bookstore Day.

A doctor’s “bedside manner” will not usually appear on their resume, but patients in need of a primary care physician would no doubt give Dr. Patsy Vargo and Hillary Glen, DNP, ARNP, “Five Stars” for their attentive approach to patient healthcare.
Warning! The photo may be too graphic for some viewers. Today in Grayton Beach around noon we captured this horrific image of a man eating shark. The attack was gruesome and proved to be fatal for the shark. The type of shark is unknown.
The shark was grilled and served on a Kaiser Roll. French Fries was the side dish. The staff at SoWal.com hope you are having a great April Fool's Day!
