87 Central Square Grand Opening In Seaside

 Northwest Florida chef and restaurateur Jim Shirleyhas announced the opening of 87 Central Square on November 9, 2023, bringing an exciting addition to the vibrant culinary scene in Seaside.

This new wine bar, dining, and entertainment destination takes inspiration from the world’s most charming outdoor gathering spots, offering guests a unique blend of Southern hospitality and global allure.

Guided Kayak Eco Tours In September at Camp Helen State Park

Join Camp Helen State Park staff for a Guided Kayak Eco Tour on Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in North America. Must be 12 years of age or older and able to independently navigate your own kayak. Reservations are required - call the park at 850-233-5059.

Tours begin promptly at 9:00 AM, meet in the Visitor Center. Cash only fee is $30 and includes park entry, watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle and a donation to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park.

Watersound Farmers Market Happens Every Saturday

The Watersound Town Center is growing rapidly. It is quickly becoming the center of life on the eastern end of SoWal and is buzzing with new businesses, events, and activities. Construction of a 48,000sf Publix has begun and several new buildings are complete.

On Saturday, October 2nd a new town center tradition begins with the debut of Watersound Farmers Market with local foods, produce, arts & crafts under the new events pavilion along with food trucks in a park like setting with fountains.
