Once in a while, the SoWal staff likes to meet up at the end of the day for happy hours.
We sip on wine and cocktails and nibble on a few bites shared family style. We love chatting about the latest happenings and getting all the fun scoop. Last week we had a full evening and an impromptu birthday toast at Bijoux. We left inspired by small bites, mules and design. Above all, we enjoyed a few good laughs and captured some fun moments.
Stinky's Fish Camp 10th Anniversary Celebration is April 1 (April Fools Day) but the party is all weekend! Come out to celebrate with everyone at Stinky's and pass a good time with good food and live music til the wee hours. The weekend kicks off on Friday, March 31 with a Captain's Party at the Bait Shack for the 7th annual Stinky's Pompano Tournament. The tournament runs from April 1 - May 15. The party continues through Sunday with Stinky's Brunch, music and more crawfish.
Redd has big red hair, a big personality, and a big singing voice. She sings and serves at her colorful little bar behind Sally's By The Sea Store in Blue Mountain Beach. At Redds Fueling Station, the fuel for good times is equal parts beloved tunes, yummy food, and cold drinks.
Cheri is back! Cheri Peebles was the highly successful manager at Hibiscus Café for many years back in the day before she left to manage and begin other successful businesses, including Grayton Beach Catering with her son Donald "Scooter" Reeder.

Every year in February, whether the beach air is warm or thankfully chilly, the pots at the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin are bubbling over with yummy gumbo of all types and flavors, brimming with unique and tasteful gumbo recipes from local restaurants and groups.
Goatfeathers Restaurant customers are greeted and seated by friendly staff into the newly-remodeled interior…a new, wooden floor awaits them as they survey the freshly-painted walls reflecting a distinct “beachy” feel so appropriate for the Blue Mountain Beach locale.
