The Defuniak Springs Juneteenth Celebration will take over the Historic Tivoli Gymnasium on Saturday, June 20th from 10AM - 7PM. Join for a full day of fun, fellowship, culture and celebration featuring: food trucks & vendors, handmade goods and local businesses, live music, a sock hop, basketball game and more!
Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, and community spirit as we celebrate freedom, unity and culture together!
Built in 1960, the facility is highly significant as the oldest gym in the Florida Panhandle built originally to serve the area's Black population. It is currently undergoing restoration by the Walton County Tivoli Historical Society to serve as a youth and community center.
