Trading the busy streets of New York City & Boston for the sugar-white sands of South Walton just got a whole lot easier.
Or maybe some of you salty SoWal locals need a big city adventure!
With new nonstop flight paths opening up from the Northeast to the Emerald Coast, the travel time between the hustle of Boston or the Big Apple and the tranquil shores of Scenic 30A has shrunk, giving you more time to spend with your toes in the water.
Delta Launches LGA to ECP Service
Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) - Delta Air Lines will be launching new seasonal Saturday service between LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and ECP for Summer 2025. The new service will begin on June 14, 2025, and will operate once weekly on Saturdays. Additionally, Delta will offer daily service from June 28, 2025, to July 6, 2025, to accommodate travelers for the 4th of July holiday. The flights will run through Labor Day and will be operated on Delta’s CRJ-900 aircraft.

McClellan Jr., A.A.E., Executive Director of ECP highlighted the significance of this new route, stating, “This is a historic moment for ECP as we introduce our first-ever nonstop flight to New York City. Partnering with Delta Air Lines to offer this new seasonal service will provide our passengers with more convenient travel options and enhance connectivity between New York City and the beautiful beaches of Northwest Florida. We are proud to bring this exciting opportunity to our Region and look forward to welcoming travelers from the Big Apple.”

Starting Saturday, March 1, 2025, passengers can book their flights directly through Delta or by using the new FlyMyAirport booking tool available on the ECP website.
JetBlue Brings the Northeast to VPS
JetBlue has new service to Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), marking a major milestone for the Emerald Coast and expanding the airline’s growing Florida network. The airline also will launch new nonstop service between VPS and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) today, further connecting the Florida panhandle with the Northeast. To celebrate the launch, JetBlue is offering limited-time introductory fares starting at $69 one-way, available now on www.jetblue.com.
