The Grayton Beach Kids Fishing Tournament is so much fun - for kids and parents. It's a joy to see the kids so excited. There's nothing like seeing a kid hook their first fish. The South Walton Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association held the 7th annual edition April 13, 2013.

Look for next year's tourney - It's just $5 to enter and the first 100 kids receive a rod and reel combo, bait and tackle, and beach rod holder. 

Walk into Duckies in Seaside and if you don't break out in a smile then you better check your pulse. Known as the "silliest place in Seaside", Duckies Shop of Fun is a whimsical wonderland full of toys, kids' clothing, beach hats & bags, and much more.

Shelves overflow with plush pals, retro and eco-friendly playthings, joke boxes, beach toys, die cast vehicles and other things to make kids of all ages smile. Giving back to individuals in need, the community and area charities is a core mission of the store.

Stellar weather is a tradition at WaterColor's annual Art in the Park Festival and 2013 was no exception with clear, blue skies and temperatures in the 70s - another perfect Spring day in SoWal.

The WaterColor Community Association hosted the 8th Annual Art in the Park in WaterColor’s Cerulean Park and Town Center.

A record crowd of more than 2,000 gumbo lovers turned out on a cool but sunny Florida day for the 24th annual Sandesatin Gumbo Festival at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. Eighteen teams competed for prizes in several categories.

The Waylon Thibodeaux Band played zydeco music while the crowd kicked up their heels and relaxed on the lawn.

We've been following our friend, filmmaker Elam Stoltzfus' journey over the past year on his travel along the length of the state on the Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition. Elam is hard at work editing the documentary and this movie trailer is the first look. It's fantastic and we can't wait to see more.
