Beach Access

Located in the center of the action on Scenic 30A right across from Cafe Thirty-A, this isn't just a simple boardwalk.

Seagrove Regional Beach Access includes 23 parking spaces with dedicated spots for standard vehicles, ADA and bicycles, a 1,011-square-foot restroom facility, handicap-accessible dune walkover with rinse showers, and connectivity to the multi-use path extending east and west along Scenic 30A. It also contains an expansive exfiltration system to capture stormwater runoff from surrounding neighborhoods. 

Camp Creek Lake Access is in Seacrest, just east of WaterSound Beach, on the eastern shore of Camp Creek Lake a few hundred yards north of Scenic 30A on Camp Creek Lake Road. It has a dock and launch for canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. The access has an ADA-accessible pier and specialized canoe and kayak launch, and has 3 parking spaces.

Scenic Gulf Drive Regional Beach Access was built in 2022 and has 400 feet of sugar-white sand along the Gulf of Mexico. The walkover picnic shelter and restroom has coastal cottage design, mirroring the county’s other beach accesses. It features 18 vehicle parking spaces, nine golf cart parking spaces, bike parking, a large deck plaza, an ADA accessible boardwalk/dune walkover, restroom facilities, and a picnic pavilion with dune walkover.

Lupine Access is in Inlet Beach at the end of South Walton Lakeshore Drive. There is no parking and it is a long up and down walkover to the beach on the western edge of Camp Helen State Park.

Lake Powell Access is in Inlet Beach on North Walton Lakeshore Drive. It has a dock and launch for canoes, kayaks and paddle boards.

Shaded parking, picnic table, dock for fishing and kayak/canoe launch on the bay in Point Washington. Head North on County Rd 283 from Grayton Beach, cross Hwy 98 onto Bay Drive and when you near the bay take a right on East Mitchelll Avenue. Bayside Ranchettes Park is 3 blocks east on the left.

Right across from Stinky's Fish Camp Restaurant is the Dune Allen Regional Beach Access on Scenic 30A. The Dune Allen Regional Beach Access has restrooms, parking and a lifeguard station. The 1.51 acre property has 220 feet of beachfront and was purchased for $7.4 million in 2016. There will be two more regional beach accesses to be constructed and completed in Miramar Beach and Seagrove Beach in 2020. This will bring the total number of regional beach access points from eight to 11 in South Walton.

Grady Brown Park is located on the north side of the bay at the Clyde B. Wells Bridge on US Highway 331 at 20940 US Highway 331 South, Freeport, FL.

North of Seagrove Beach at the north end of Scenic Highway 395 in Point Washington is a boat ramp and two docks on Tucker Bayou that opens into the Choctawhatchee Bay. There is parking and a boat cleaning station with fresh water. This is the spot where Jim Carrey as Truman attempted to board the ferry to escape Seahaven Island in the movie The Truman Show.

Pilcher Park is underneath the 331 bridge on the south shore of Choctawhatchee Bay. It's the place to go for launching a boat or fishing along the rocks or on the 200-foot pier. Just about any species of saltwater fish can be caught at Pilcher Park in Walton County, Florida.
