It was a wet weekend in SoWal but the Digital Graffiti crew perservered and pulled of an amazing two-night event. It poured rain on Friday and Saturday afternoons but held off both nights. The glistening streets and walkways reflected the mesmerizing art projected on to the walls of Alys Beach. The party at Caliza Pool on Saturday night was sizzling! You have to see it to believe it. That means you need to visit Alys Beach on June 8th and 9th, 2012 for a feast for your senses in a beautiful setting. Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach is one of our favorite events, and If you haven't been to this SoWal.com-sponsored event you've got to go. It's very unique. It's the world's first projection art festival, with artists from all over the globe projecting their original works onto the town's white walls. Every year there are new surprises.

The Seaside Repertory Theatre pulls out all the stops each summer to entertain the whole family with a series of free plays scattered around SoWal. This summer is no exception with three highly-entertaining productions for the outdoors.

An expanded ArtsQuest was a resounding success as music and art was showcased in Seaside over three days. Stormy weather made way for beautiful blue skies for a Mother's Day surprise! Congratulations to Francisco Adaro who took home the prize for Best In Show.

The ArtsQuest Fine Arts & Music Festival is a great South Walton Mother's Day tradition. And for the 24th year you can expect to have a great time in Seaside enjoying great art, music, shopping, food, and people watching.

Did you know that ArtsQuest began 24 years ago in Grayton Beach?  It was known then as the Grayton Beach Fine Arts Festival, and it lived in Grayton Beach for seven years. On the 20th anniversary of ArtsQuest, the Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) decided to start a tradition of having a reunion event, bringing friends of the Festival, old and new, back to Grayton during ArtsQuest. This year, there are two opportunities to get together, reminisce, hear great music and storytelling, eat delicious food and just enjoy the laid-back, funky vibe of historic Grayton Beach.   

Susan Lucas is a professional artist, whose acrylic paintings are in galleries, homes, corporate and university collections nationwide.  She has exhibited and won awards in numerous regional and national shows, and has frequent solo shows.
