Wine lovers will gather in Alys Beach for the fourth annual 30A Wine Festival on Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 8, 2015. Located on Scenic Highway 30A in Northwest Florida’s South Walton County, Alys Beach will welcome renowned vintners and local culinary favorites for a three-day celebration benefiting Children’s Volunteer Health Network. Chef Phillip McDonald joins the Bud & Alley’s team as executive chef of The Pizza Bar in Seaside, Florida. McDonald, who was born and raised in Destin, recently returned to the Emerald Coast after a year honing his culinary skills with some of the best in the New York culinary scene, including a six-month stint as sous chef at Reynard in the Wythe Hotel.

Grayton Beer Company in Santa Rosa Beach has completed their new taproom! Open to the public since Nov. 21, the taproom boasts a 40-ft. bar made of recycled wood pallets and 25 taps where customers can enjoy all of Grayton’s unique brews, including specialty small-batch beers. The bar will also feature guest taps for other craft beers as well as collaboration beers between Grayton Beer Company and other local craft breweries.
