Seaside Wine Project Features Iconic Coleman Pavilion

The newest label from the Seaside wine collection features the Coleman Pavilion, the iconic obelisk on the beach in the center of Seaside, Florida. The Seaside rosé is the first of six varietals featuring the new label and is available now at Modica Market.

To celebrate, a special wine tasting will be held at Modica Market on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 5-7 p.m. Demetria McNeese of McNeese Distributing will be pouring and talking about the Seaside Wine Project family of wines.

 

Food, Folks & Fun: Lunch Hour at The Red Bar

South Walton is a food lover's paradise, and the SoWal crew takes advantage daily. Nearing lunchtime last Tuesday we had just visited Amy Huff of Fashionably Late. After a quick interview and photos at her new boutique at Uptown Grayton, we were starving and our creative juices were flowing. We did the usual, “Where do y’all want to go for lunch?” It's an easy decision when you're so close to "downtown" Grayton and The Red Bar.

I sat staring in awe at the Pastry Platter piled with high with the best things in life - carbs. Gracing the platter: a blueberry muffin made with pancake batter; sfogliatelle; chocolate and butter croissants; cranberry and chocolate goat-cheese medallions; and shaved prosciutto and parmesan.
