Rags to Riches Regatta at Grayton Beach July 1, 2017

The 21st edition of the annual Rags To Riches Regatta returns to Grayton Beach on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in celebration of American Independence Day.

The small catamaran race is a tradition among SoWal sailors, families, friends, and Grayton Beach lovers. Come out to watch the regatta take off from the shores of Grayton Beach, have a cold one from Grayton Beer Company and pick up a tee shirt commemorating the 2017 Regatta. Relax and watch the colorful catamarans on the Gulf as they race to Seagrove Beach and back to Grayton. 

Grayton Beach State Park Showcases South Walton's Best

Grayton Beach State Park has showcased the best natural environment South Walton has to offer for nearly 50 years. 

The park encompasses 2,200 acres of pristine rolling dunes along the Gulf and Western Lake, and a magnificent coastal forest habitat with unusual scrub oaks and magnolias twisted by winds and time. Western Lake is the centerpiece of the park, one of our rare, freshwater coastal dune lakes.
