North Beach Social Anniversary Celebration March 1 & 2

North Beach Social is turning four years old! Not only is NBS one of the coolest spots to hang out, the beach bar on the bay is the centerpiece of "North Beach" - an area around the 331 bridge that is becoming its own SoWal town center.

Locals and visitors lamented for decades about not having a "beach bar" in SoWal where you could hang out on the sand with a drink in hand. Then Jim Shirley (of Great Southern fame) decided to make it right. He established the North Beach wave with North Beach Social, The Bay, and Farm & Fire on the gorgeous shore of the Choctawhatchee Bay.

North Beach Social happily fuels SoWal locals and tourists with seafood selections. Think fresh oysters, shrimp, fish, and tuna poke — alongside rice bowls, burgers, salads, and more. North Beach Social offers counter service, so you can order and then go relax with a craft beer, glass of wine, or a frozen or featured cocktail. The weekend breakfast menu showcases fan favorites like Chef Jim Shirley’s signature Grits A Ya Ya, Cereal-Crusted French Toast, or the always satisfying Breakfast Tacos.

North Beach Social never passes up an opportunity to celebrate good times. With a full music and event calendar every month, there’s always something to look forward to. North Beach Social offers daily drink specials and ongoing events such as their fan-favorite weekly Paella Night. It’s the perfect place to relax with a cocktail while the kids play on the beach.
