Bud & Alley's owner Dave Rauschkolb never skimps on research. After seeking out the most important meal of the day all over the city, they brought the best recipes back to the place with the best view in the world. Breakfast at Bud & Alley’s was born.

Emeril's Florida Season Three in South Walton

In this episode, Emeril travels to South Walton in Northwest Florida. The first stop is The Bay, a restaurant owned by local chef favorite, Jim Shirley. Emeril then takes a tour of the many events held in South Walton throughout the year including a wine & food festival, a fashion week, road races, a film festival and a beer festival.

Miramar Beach is The Best of Both Worlds

In our area, we are fortunate to have two premier beach destinations that merge almost seamlessly together. While they are neighbors, each offers a unique experience. The remarkable communities of which we speak are, of course, South Walton and Destin.

South Walton is comprised of a varied collection of “towns” that nestle predominantly along Scenic Highway 30A. Each offers their own interpretation of a life well lived by the beach.

Chanticleer Eatery Soars Ahead

Sandro and Emily Wever are the husband and wife dream team behind Chanticleer Eatery. Since opening in June of 2012, they have shared their collective food vision with SoWal, and the result is a legion of loyal customers.

The couple met while working in a restaurant, so creating food together has always come naturally to them. And much like the ideal relationship, Chanticleer’s food is homey, satisfying, full of flavor, and sometimes spicy.

We don't just look at a dune and see a pretty sight. We see something that touches our souls. That's true of Russ Gilbert. He moved here over 20 years ago from nearby Chipley and hasn't regretted it for a second.

Homestyle Italian You Know and Love at Angelina's

There are a many reasons why Angelina’s Pizzeria and Pasta in Seagrove Beach has been a success for more than 20 years, but the most important are the great food and warm, friendly service. When Brian and Jan Ethridge moved to SoWal in 1994 to open their little Italian eatery, they wanted nothing more than to offer home-style cuisine by the beach - and they have succeeded.
