Every year Grand Boulevard at Sandestin has an impressive line-up of events for the holiday season.
Included this year are Grand Boulevard’s signature holiday celebrations, the popular Hometown Holiday Parade & Coastal White Christmas Holiday Celebration, and numerous festive, family-friendly activities. These events are open to the public at no cost.
We adore our delicious lunchtime breaks at our local SoWal eateries.
When the staff lunches, it's time for us to check in with our partners, talk about upcoming plans, and just catch up. Last Friday Lisa and I decided to pop into Local Catch to see what’s new.
Panoramic Gulf views mesmerize from every seat in the house at Fish Out Of Water, WaterColor’s favorite casual dining spot.
If you can tear your gaze away from the view, textural artwork by Justin Gaffrey and an open Chef’s kitchen are a feast for the senses. The menu itself is a sensory experience, ever changing, ever creative, ever delicious.
Every week in South Walton, we have a great collection of Farmers Markets featuring fresh produce, ready-made foods, crafts and more!
Keep an eye on the SoWal Events Calendar for the most current info on days & times, subject to change throughout the year.
Our latest SoWal List features fun Farmers Markets for the whole family.
Alys Beach is on beautiful Scenic 30A, captivating the spirit with amazing architecture and parks alongside pristine white sands and sparkling blue water.
The coastal South Walton town is a place of unmatched views, salt air, and world-class dining and shopping. A life in Alys Beach is defined by a gentle pace combined with a natural environment to soothe the soul. Alys Beach has two great, new beachside options to have your own preferred luxury home in the town on the Gulf in SoWal.
What started out as a cool café by five dudes on surfboards with beers has evolved over time into a family-run cafe. Owners Paul DiGiacomo and Bonnie Erin reopened Grayton Corner Café to the delight of South Walton locals - this time with a new location.
But the more things change the more they stay the same. Grayton Corner Café at its core remains a place where locals feel comfortable and visitors feel like locals.
“It’s an extension of your home, which in the old days that’s what Grayton was,” says Bonnie.
Four diamond service. Panoramic Gulf views. Casual vibes. Tranquil blues. Fish Out Of Water plays it cool among the happiest of Happy Hour spots in South Walton.
All views lead to the ocean in the updated dining room. Cozy cushions, hardwood floors, an open kitchen (with a tandoor oven!) and the indoor/outdoor FOOWbar leads you to the wide patio with Gulf views. Blue as the eye can see.
Modica Market, which opened March 17, 1989 by Charles Modica Sr. and his wife, Sarah, began with a simple deal-sealing handshake between Modica and Seaside founder Robert Davis, and has since flourished into one of the most recognizable businesses along Highway 30A. As the market celebrates three decades in business, the next generation of Modicas — Charles Modica Jr. and Carmel Modica — run the store together.
Seaside is the picture-perfect little SoWal beach town where you can reach every shop and restaurant by foot or bike.
