Celebrating all that our “30A beach vibe” has to offer -  resident musicians, fresh catch seafood, and area artists (check out local legend Bryan Hand’s barroom mural) -  Red Fish Taco (RFT) prides itself on delicious food and cocktails, great music, and good times set in a casual yet eclectic atmosphere.

The Watersound Town Center is growing rapidly. It is quickly becoming the center of life on the eastern end of SoWal and is buzzing with new businesses, events, and activities. Construction of a 48,000sf Publix has begun and several new buildings are complete.

On Saturday, October 2nd a new town center tradition begins with the debut of Watersound Farmers Market with local foods, produce, arts & crafts under the new events pavilion along with food trucks in a park like setting with fountains.

Brian and Jan Ethridge opened Angelina’s Pizzeria & Pasta in 1994 with a specific vision –  to own and operate a restaurant that embodies the classic Italian family home. Bravo! Mission accomplished.

Bud & Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant on Scenic Highway 30A in Seaside, Florida,—famous for its sunset celebration toasts—marks its 35th anniversary in 2021. Soon, Bud & Alley’s foodie fans can lift a glass at the daily sunset celebration toast on a newly renovated Roof Deck.

In 2020, Chef Jim Shirley received two honors, the first was becoming the 16th recipient of the Van Ness Butler Jr. Hospitality Award.

The award honors and recognizes excellence in the hospitality, service, travel/tourism, advertising and promotion industries, as well as contributions to the local community. Shirley’s contributions to the community throughout the years make him a natural choice for the honor.
