This morning I ventured out to explore The Green Owl in Seagrove Plaza. The South Walton shop is right on Scenic 30A, but tucked away in a small space. I found The Green Owl to be truly unique and overflowing with inspiration from Owner Stephanie Anklier's vision.
“I like simple,” says Stephanie. "Our products are organic, Fair Trade, and contain no harmful ingredients. "
After 29 years in business, Pat Miller’s Goatfeathers Seafood Markets are still a main draw here in South Walton. On the Scenic 30A “west side” in Santa Rosa Beach, the market opened at the same time as his Goatfeathers Restaurant in 1988. The newer Seagrove location opened in 2000, giving residents and visitors on the “east side” of Scenic 30A a closer option for their fresh seafood.
The 29th annual ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival will fill Grand Boulevard’s Town Center with over 150 national exhibiting artists on May 13-14 over Mother’s Day weekend.
Step into the showroom at Lola’s on Scenic 30A in Santa Rosa Beach and be transported from one inspiring vignette to another.
Lola’s showcases fine art, design accents for your home, clothing, jewelry and statement furniture.
Equipping people to overcome. Demonstrating acts of kindness. Giving opportunity to those who need it most. That’s what OKO stands for.
A sure sign Spring has sprung is the return of Art in the Park held at WaterColor's town center each March. The 12th annual edition is just off Scenic 30A on Saturday, March 18 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
We're always excited to learn about new and exciting events in and around SoWal - and this one sounds like a winner. High end boats, gear, and lots more to explore next to Pier Park in Panama City Beach.

Alys Beach Merchants are an integral part of the carefully curated Alys Beach community. From retail and recreation to food and beverage, each remarkable merchant shares a vision of a life defined by beauty, simplicity, balance and grace. Look for the iconic butteries flanking each end of town and then you'll know you've arrived at one of SoWal's great shopping and dining destinations.
For the Health of It has been in business for 22 years in Blue Mountain Beach. That’s long enough to see organic babies grow into organic kids into organic teens into healthy adults.
After all this time, the good folks at the health food store / nutritional emporium / juice & smoothie bar still manage to keep things fresh. Now they’re stocking items from the largest provider of organic produce in the Southeast to offer loyal customers clean food at conventional prices.
