Moving & Shaking in Seaside Town Center
March 11, 2024 by Kurt Lischka

One constant in SoWal is that things are always changing in Seaside.
The constant evolution of the town keeps things interesting and vibrant. Loyal visitors who come back year after year appreciate that some things never change - the generous and friendly beach attitude, great shopping and dining - and the BEACH!
A change hard to miss is the move of the Seaside Post Office from its spot on Scenic 30A to inside the square next to Sundog Books & Central Square Records.
Just behind the Post Office are new public restrooms with a very cool design.
On the other side of Sundog Books is B.F.F. - a spot by Great Southern Cafe to walk up and get a quick drink - specializing in bushwackers, frosé & frozens.
Take a stroll back to Ruskin Place Artists' Colony to find more shopping.
Just to the right of the Post Office, Town Square Shoes is moving in to the space formerly occupied by The Art Of Simple.
Meanwhile, the Art of Simple has moved across the square to the space formerly occupied by Artful Eye.
Artful Eye has moved to the spot next to the Lyceum Gateway.
Through the Lyceum Gateway the Seaside Neighborhood School has added classrooms, walkways, and a new stage.
Amavida Coffee Roasters has moved from the building on the south side of Scenic 30A to the space next to The Art Of Simple.
Airstreams get added and changed fairly often - like Crêpes du Soleil, replacing Raw & Juicy, which moved to Alys Beach
Bud & Alley's Taco Bar opened in the space previously occupied by Raw & juicy Life. The Taco Bar has since moved to the 1st floor of Bud & Alley's Waterfront Restaurant.
Just behind Bud & Alley's take a load off and enjoy a cool drink while taking in the view from the boardwalk.
